A lot of important details are not well-told that in the end, the narrative arc seems very forced and underestablished. The ending, too, is overwhelming, as the movie failed to showcase how much a landmark the case really was in American history. The acting is also...how can I see, a bit too formulaic.

Robert Atman導(dǎo)演不愧為群戲大師，數(shù)十位出場人物形象豐滿，劇情線索絲毫不亂，奉獻一出英國版《紅樓夢》，散發(fā)著古典主義的精緻。演員均奉獻不俗表演，Helen Mirren和Maggie Smith不愧為Oscar影后，如此仍出彩。影片若是純英表演陣容或許更好，Ryan Phillippe總讓人忍不住挑剔下。
