少年刀客身背絕世武功而不自知。沙里飛號(hào)稱殺富濟(jì)貧大游俠。鎮(zhèn)民怕惹火燒身拒絕放走瘸子岳父懦弱膽小卻在一刀仙復(fù)仇時(shí)第一個(gè)沖上去。懦弱的鐵匠居然也沖上去勸說一刀仙，而酒鬼老頭更是視死如歸，一而再，再而三。三個(gè)人的鮮血讓少年刀客終于有勇氣去面對(duì)強(qiáng)敵，而在此之前，沙里飛二弟當(dāng)眾侮辱好妹、以及鎮(zhèn)民們害怕少年逃跑而阻止，得知沙里飛要來后的狂歡，到沙里飛失約后的恐懼。兩者之間對(duì)比反差特別強(qiáng)烈。這部90年代的電影隱喻著當(dāng)強(qiáng)權(quán)降臨時(shí)，挺身而出的卻可能是最弱的平民階層，而希望終歸寄托于少年。這其實(shí)是個(gè)充滿希望的隱喻。說明人類良知終不可淹沒。而看似懦弱的人民其實(shí)并不懦弱。
