The ending is a bit trite but nevertheless, it's incredibly illuminating on the current situation and how"history doesn't repeat itself but it rhymes." It's reflexive as well since part of the footage was made in a documentary interview method while"Hitler" was in character. Not only did the German not mind seeing Hitler, but they bought into it.
